Morgan Davis is a JUNO Award-winning blues musician whose career spans more than five decades. Raised in Detroit, he grew up immersed in early rock and roll, rhythm and blues, and the emerging Motown sound before moving to Toronto in 1968 to pursue his passion for traditional country blues. Since beginning his professional career in 1970, Davis has performed alongside blues legends including Muddy Waters, Johnny Shines, Hubert Sumlin, Willie Dixon, and John Lee Hooker. Known for his authentic interpretations and original contemporary blues, he performs on electric, slide, and three-string cigar-box guitar. Winner of the 2004 JUNO Award for Blues Album of the Year, Davis celebrated 55 years on the road in 2025 and continues to share his lifelong love of the blues with audiences across North America and Europe.
